Stacey Huston (nee Smith) is a self-confessed active mum to her daughter Kaia and son Bodhi. 2019 saw Stacey returned to full time work and love it! Around full time work and the two small humans in her world, she managed to squeeze in some training to complete the Tarawera Ultra 50km, the Queenstown Marathon and the Lactic Turkey Wild Auckland 50km Ultra, before returning to the distance she loves so much- the 100km.

After completing her second 100km at the Tarawera Ultramarathon in 2021, Stacey was poised to take on her first 100 Miler event this year. But when all events were canned she was forced into running a DIY 100km Ultra with a bunch of other crazies through the trails of Rotorua.
Being active helps Stacey get time to herself, away from being a busy working mum and time to just 'be'. 2022 will see Stacey open her own Grocery Store in St Heliers, Auckland. So while her running will take a bit of a backseat for a while, any spare time away from the shop and family commitments will see her working towards the 85km Old Ghost Ultra in 2023 and finally ticking off her bucket list 100 Miler in 2024.
"You'll never regret exercising, so stop making excuses. Set yourself small goals in the short term and work towards them, then lock in a bigger long term goal to keep you focused. I love my Zeenya shorts- bringing colour to Auckland's waterfront, both on and off the water."
