An endurance junkie since ages ago, Erin lives in Hamilton where she coaches a great team of athletes for running, triathlon, multi-sport and mountain biking. With a background in physiology, she also provides strength and conditioning coaching to athletes. Erin also has a keen interest in women’s health and wellbeing, and works with ladies to help them achieve a life balanced with all the good things – nourishing nutrition, hormonal balance and functional fitness - all within a friendly, supportive environment. She is currently setting up a baby-friendly home studio where new mums can begin their journeys back to strength and fitness under safe guidance.
Erin comes from a sporty background – initially a runner, she made a big jump to racing professionally for Ironman distance triathlon back in 2013. It has been a journey that has nurtured her love for travel and exploration, while testing the limits of her endurance – from racing in the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas, to testing her resilience in the hot, steamy jungles of South East Asia, and racing at the pinnacle of Ironman racing at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.
Nowadays, while Erin has retired from professional racing, you can still find her socially riding and running with her crew of athletes. She has created an incredibly supportive, social atmosphere for what is essentially an individual sport – she has an amazing team of athletes who encourage and support each other (and any newbies), which she believes leads to the successes her athletes enjoy.
When she’s not out with her team, she is off on regular mountain missions – unless it’s cold and raining - then she’s curled up on the couch with her two dogs and little rescue cat.
